Community use of our Facilities
PLEASE NOTE: At the moment, our facilities are only available for hire to Permanent Bookings, however, there may be some times available if you are planning a one-off special event or group meeting. Please contact our Office on 9888 2295 between the hours of 9.00am and 12.00 noon on Tuesdays and Thursdays or you may email bookings@mountwaverleyunitingchurch.org.au We are currently in the process of updating our photos of the different rooms.
We offer community and commercial rates, along with permanent and casual rates. As we are a church, our facilities are usually not available on Sundays. All events must be alcohol and smoke free. If you are interested in using our facilities, please complete the online enquiry form below or telephone the Church Office on 9888 2295 between the hours of 9.00am and 12.00 noon on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Inspections can be arranged by appointment only. All users must provide their own Public Liability Insurance or they may purchase single event cover from our office at an additional charge.
The Church Worship space can be made available for approved concerts, weddings and funerals at the discretion of the minister. Flowers and food for funerals can be arranged by negotiation. The Church Worship space is not available for hire on Sundays.
We have a well-equipped kitchen which can be made available in conjunction with the John Marriott Hall.
The Hall can accommodate 80 people seated. Rectangular tables are available. Users need to provide their own sound system. It is a requirement that all rubbish from a function is taken away off the property and not put in any of our internal or external bins.
Room 2 has seating for 50 people and tables can be made available upon enquiry. This room has a wall heater and includes a small kitchenette. Room 2 faces our internal courtyard.
Room 3 has seating for 25 people with rectangular tables available. This room has a wall heater and faces our internal courtyard.
Room 4 has limited seating and faces our internal courtyard.
Onsite parking is limited. We have 3 reserved disabled car parks and 1 car park reserved for the minister. Any overflow can easily be accommodated in the adjacent shopping centre carpark.
The church car park cannot be booked as it must remain available at all times for anyone using the facilities.
** Please Note: The complex is a no smoking and no alcohol complex.
We do not accept bookings for parties for teenagers and young adults under the age of 25 years
Facilities are not available for bookings on Friday nights.
